The e34 has a trigger in the diff that gives around 9 pulses per wheel revolution the e39 takes its speed input from the abs wheel trigger and is around 40 i havent counted pulses.
The bmw e39 5 series was produced from 091995 062003 for the 1996 2003 model years. The new mirrors come with blue tinted glass anti glaring but does not. The m5 got a different throttle pedal which is shorter than the standard e39s 825 inch accelerator pedal. E34e39 m5 said.
